The effect of teaching a study unit included in life applications for physics On achievement and thinking skills for second -grade high school students

Abstract
The aim of the study is to know the impact of teaching unit that includes life applications in the physics book, the researcher, the study tools were applied to a sample of second -grade secondary, and the study sample included (68) students. The first two groups were divided into a experimental that contained (36), and a control contained (32), and after verifying the sincerity and steadfastness of the study tools, the study showed the following results:
- The presence of statistically significant differences between the degrees of the experimental students and the control in the post application to test the educational attainment in favor of the experimental.
- The existence of a correlation between the degrees of the experimental students and students of the control in the achievement test and the test of scientific thinking.
In light of the results, the study recommends
- The need to include life applications in the scientific topics of physics
- Training physics teachers on how to integrate, teach life applications
